Everything you need to feed your High Octane Lifestyle!
In a new report from the UN Food and Agriculture Organization they want to solve the hunger problems in the world by having us eat insects.
They state that insects contain lots of fat, protein and minerals. They’re also alot cheaper to feed. Grasshoppers need only 1/12 of the food you’d need to feed cows to produce the same amount of protein. Insects are also much kinder to the environment and they reproduce very quickly.
From my own experience here in Thailand I can only say that the insects I’ve eaten taste delicious. They can be a bit bland if only fried, but once they fry them with lime leaves, chili and garlic… mmm-mmm-mmm! Fried crickets with a little bit of bbq-sauce tastes like nuts, and go great with beer. However, the ones I’ve eaten accidentally when riding my motorbike don’t taste as good though.
